It is this entrepreneurial spirit that inspired the establishment of the first academic department at the University’s new Southend campus: the School of Entrepreneurship and Business. This unique higher education learning resource for the study of entrepreneurship, innovation and business has established a niche centre of educational excellence, contributing to the development of the regional economy.
The School's academic research and teaching portfolio aims to provide students with an in-depth understanding and practical know-how of different aspects of entrepreneurship, new business creation, business development and innovation in different contexts.
