Dr Svetlana Warhurst is a Lecturer in International Business and Entrepreneurship at the School of Entrepreneurship and Business, University of Essex.
Svetlana completed her Doctoral Research at the Strategy, Entrepreneurship and International Business Group, Manchester Metropolitan University Business School , UK. Her doctoral thesis examines the impact of autonomy and embeddedness on performance of foreign-owned subsidiaries in the UK.
She received an MSc in International Business Management from the Manchester Metropolitan University in 2001, and a BSc. in Economics with Honours from Polotsk State University, Belarus in 1997.

Research interests
Svetlana’s research interests lie in the area of international business and entrepreneurship. She is an active member of Academy of International Business and has participated and presented at a number of UK and international conferences and research seminars.
Svetlana is a research supervisor to Master’s and PhD students at the School of Entrepreneurship and Business.
