Before studying in the UK Peng worked in the one of China ’s largest medical company in Beijing , Shanghai , and Weihai as a Research and Development Project Manager. Whilst working and studying in various professional fields, Peng developed extensive knowledge and capabilities within international and domestic collaboration, operations, business management, project development, market research and development.
He gained an MSc in Entrepreneurship and Business Management, and BA in Adverting and Marketing Communication at University of Bedfordshire during 2000 to 2004. He has recently joined School of Entrepreneurship and Business, University of Essex as the Weigao China Research Group Manager. He is also the Chief Representative of Weigao Group Corporation, working on the project of International Industry Cluster linkage with SMEs, University and Institutions between UK and China . Peng offers consultancy to various Chinese High-Technology based enterprises and national and regional government agencies regarding investment opportunities between UK and China.
