Li Ying Meng joined the school in September 2008. Prior to this she lectured in knowledge management as part of a university MBA with Information Technology programme. Further positions previously held including Senior Researcher at Kingston University, approved trainer in negotiation skills to blue-chip international companies like Philips and Canon, Operations Manager of an international commercial company, and Research Assistant at Cranfield University.
Li Ying is an interdisciplinary researcher. Her PhD study addressed three disciplines, i.e. Marketing, Accounting, and Information Systems. She has studied structural design (Tongji University, Shanghai), Informatics and Mathematics (University of Wuerzbury, Germany), and is a serial entrepreneur.
Li Ying is actively promoting the adoption of information and knowledge management systems among companies, and has been researching the benefits from marketing and financial prospects.
