Kristine holds her MBA degree from Riga Business School in Riga, Latvia. She joined SEB for PhD programme in Entrepreneurship in January 2008 and was awarded an OECD LEED scholarship for exploring internationalization of firms in Central and Eastern Europe. Kristine has worked several years in education in field of research and programme development at Riga International School of Economics & Business Administration, Riga, Latvia and now is exploring opportunities for setting up her own business.

Doctoral Research Outline

The research looks into the factors influencing the capacity of firms in Central and Eastern Europe to internationalise their activities by exporting, participating in global value chains and international knowledge flows, and the implications for entrepreneurship policy development in these activities.
