School of Entrepreneurship & Business
BSc International Enterprise and Business Development
Back to Undergraduate programmes
The BSc in International Enterprise and Business Development is a three-year programme of study on business creation, development and growth in an international context. The programme has a central aim, and that is to help students obtain a better and critical understanding of complex patterns, trends and trajectories of modern business activity, from start-up to maturity and subsequent business renewal. Entrepreneurship and innovation are constant sub-texts, underpinning the schemes’ offering of critical issues of international business environment and strategies and appropriate learning models and tools for a better understanding of the realities of the new venture creation and development in the global market place.
This program has a unique focus on the study of entrepreneurial people, organisations and the environment in an international context. Rapid technological, economic and structural changes in organisations and the environment across different countries, and the need for a responsive skills portfolio among future workers, entrepreneurs and policy makers require a thorough grasp of the processes of business formation and growth. In addressing these issues, the programme focuses as much on critical content as on helping students to acquire learning, research, inter-personal, team-working and networking skills. This programme is designed for students seeking career paths in an entrepreneurial business environment involving both small and large businesses.
