This exciting one-year MSc in Entrepreneurship and Innovation aims to enable students to acquire essential knowledge, vital, contemporary skills and competencies, and critical awareness necessary for rewarding careers in dynamic business environments, in government and other policy-making institutions, in non-governmental or community-based organisations, and as potential entrepreneurs creating, managing and sustaining their own enterprises.
The content of the course modules is interdisciplinary in nature with sound academic and theoretical underpinnings, drawn from economics, sociology, management, the arts, design, and technology management. Students will also receive regular contributions from international academics, policy-makers and practitioners. The programme will also give participants access to direct links with entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial organisations, as well as links with international institutions.
This programme aims to prepare participants for careers as entrepreneurs, owner-managers, policy makers in support services, corporate entrepreneurs or entrepreneurial management in different types of organisations. There will also be opportunities for future research and developmental activities within the School of Entrepreneurship and Business at the University of Essex Southend.
