Dan Doherty

Dan Doherty is chief executive of communications firm Cadence Market Strategy, which is based in Essex and London , managing director of Business Uncovered, an Essex-based national SME business networking organisation, and an external board adviser for leading recruitment firm The Consensus Organisation, which specialises in London and the Thames Gateway.
Dan was born and still lives in Essex where his previous roles included those of regional managing director and chief executive in subsidiaries of leading financial institutions as well as the consumer and personal finance sectors. He is published worldwide across human resources, business, Internet and health matters. Dan is a former finalist in the Excellence in Leadership Awards, run by the Industrial Society. He has developed and executed opinion leader programmes in the fields of education, diversity, healthcare and human resources and has led various high profile and award-winning workplace-related campaigns. He specialises in micro and small business consultancy working with smaller firms, and with larger corporate who wants to understand the SME market better.
Dan was responsible for proposing, managing and developing the first national employment attitudes survey. He proposed and advises on the annual consumer healthcare survey.
Dan is a Fellow of the RSA (Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce), an Accredited Practitioner member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, a member of the Chartered Institute of Journalists and a Liveryman in the Worshipful Company of Marketors, the City Livery Company for leaders in Marketing.
