Christabel Divine Brownson [2006/07 MSc Entrepreneurship and Innovation]

I am very pleased with the course delivery method especially the tutorial sessions which give much more room for discussion and explanation of issues not understood in the class. I have  learnt a lot about entrepreneurial organisations especially during the panel sessions with practitioners and policy makers and the business plan course has been very rewarding. I have already recommended the course to colleagues.

SEB is a nice school in the UK. I learned a lot from SEB, for example, how to become a female entrepreneur, how to understand western country policies and entrepreneurship. In addition, many entrepreneurs tell students about their experiences. The course has helped a lot with my current job in terms of writing up a good business plan. I have started a new programme in my company since 2006.

Being lectured by Professor Mitra who shared his professional experiences, was a great added value to the courses. The international environment at SEB allowed me to share the working experiences within the multi-culture group. And the academic reputation of the University of Essex enhances my confident in the career life

From the very first day, all members of staff were very kind and helpful. Entering the school we became members of one family. Everyone was asking whether we experienced any problems not only in university but out of studies as well. We've seen a strong desire to support and help us with our accommodation issues and leisure-time activities from teachers and staff. This school is associated with the best memories and experiences I ever had. And of course I would recommend the programme to my friends.

Lu Xia [2005/06 MSc Entrepreneurship and Innovation]

The courses not only taught us about the world of entrepreneurship and innovation, but also made us think out of the box. From my own point of view, the way of thinking is more important than the real knowledge we learned from the SEB.

The staff are very kind, they took our suggestions seriously, and always offered us help whenever we needed it. The relationship among students and staff is more like friends and we still keep in touch with them after we finished our courses. I am working in a college as a teacher in China now, and I will try my best to give my future students a general idea of what I learned from the courses, especially the way of thinking out of the box.
